Dr. Deron Jester
Dr. Deron Jester is the founder and director of Jester Family Chiropractic, a wellness practice in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He graduated from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He continued his studies at Life University in Atlanta and obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic. In 2016, Dr. Deron Jester was awarded Chiropractor of the Year by The Masters Circle Chiropractic organization. Recently, Dr. Deron was awarded the title of Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner from the International Chiropractic Association and Dr. James Chestnut, founder of the revolutionary Wellness and Prevention Paradigm and The Wellness Practice. This certification enables him to incorporate specialized nutrition, exercise, chiropractic and rehabilitative programs to serve patients’ evolving health and wellness needs. Dr. Deron lectures regularly in the community and to corporate groups on topics as diverse as stress reduction, improved job productivity, disease and injury prevention, and optimal health and wellness strategies. Dr. Deron specializes in working with all types of cases from patients with Herniated Discs, Athletes and Sports Injuries, Pre and Post Natal Spinal concerns, Children’s Spinal Issues, Geriatric Spinal Needs, as well as Personal, Auto, and Work Related Injuries. He is passionate and committed to empowering people to reach their optimal level of health and function and maintain peak performance levels throughout their lifetime. Dr. Deron is a member of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association. When not in the office serving patients, Dr. Deron enjoys competing in triathlons, adventure racing, endurance training, yoga, and family time spent with his wife, two children, and Black Labrador Retriever.
Dr. Jennifer Jester
Dr. Jennifer is the co-founder and co-director of Jester Family Chiropractic, a wellness practice in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Bucknell University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. She then went on to attend Life University in Atlanta to obtain her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Jennifer is currently pursuing advanced education and training in Functional Medicine to help serve patients with chronic health conditions and those looking for a whole body approach to health and wellness. She also has included specialized chiropractic care for expectant mothers, to help women experience a healthier pregnancy and more optimal delivery, and utilizes the Webster Technique, a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment for pregnant women that has been shown to restore proper pelvic balance and function, and address issues related to fetal breech positioning. In addition, Dr. Jennifer involves children of all ages from infant to adolescent in chiropractic care because it is so important to keep the spine healthy from the first days of life. Dr. Jennifer is also passionate about Women’s Health and the specific health concerns of women. She has incorporated many health and wellness programs to help women of all ages reach their personal health and wellness goals and achieve optimal health and function. Dr. Jennifer is a member of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association. Dr. Jennifer’s hobbies are running, skiing, hiking, and family time spent with her husband, two children, and black Labrador Retriever. She also enjoys volunteering for local charities and giving back to the community.
Dr. Mark Newton
Dr. Mark consistently brings fantastic energy to the Jester Family Chiropractic team. He grew up in York, Pennsylvania and attended Shippensburg University, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science. Wanting to further his education, he studied chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College where he then received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Mark’s passion for chiropractic started at an early age when he would go to his chiropractor for sports related injuries and wellness care. His chiropractor at the time was very knowledgeable and passionate about the positive effects that chiropractic care had on the human body and the overall health of a person which helped to guide and inspire Dr. Mark towards a career in chiropractic care. He enjoys treating all types of patients, from children to the elderly, and believes in providing every patient with optimal care. As an athlete himself, Dr. Mark also enjoys treating athletes and sports related injuries. Outside of the office Dr. Mark enjoys playing competitive indoor volleyball and in the summer time, sand volleyball. He also enjoys running, hiking and participating in water sports like wake boarding and water skiing. He also loves spending time with family and friends, especially with his wife, daughter, and their Yorkie. Dr. Mark is a member of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association as well as the American Chiropractic Association.
