Chiropractic, Functional Medicine, and Wellness in West Chester
About Our Office
Conveniently located in downtown West Chester, PA, Jester Family Chiropractic was established in 2004 by Drs. Deron and Jennifer Jester.
Our office is warm and friendly, and you are always treated like one of the family. It has been our mission to serve our community and help people achieve their optimal health and function through quality chiropractic care. Our family wellness health center is focused on locating the cause of health problems, not just “treating” the symptoms. The doctors’ approach to health is to release the innate healing potential of the body so all systems function at 100%.
Adjusting the spine is the cornerstone of chiropractic. When the spinal joints are not properly aligned or not properly mobile it can cause a cascade of dysfunction in the body from muscular to neurological dysfunction. This dysfunction puts the body at risk for injury, improper biomechanical function, early degenerative changes, and overall reduced functional performace and capacity. We utilize multiple techniques in order to provide the greatest service to our patients. Along with the traditional manual adjustments, your doctor may use special tool or techniques along with specific physical therapies and rehabilitative therapies to help you achieve the best result possible. Spinal adjustments are gentle, safe, and designed to help restore optimal function the spine and body.

Your First Visit
On your first visit you will be welcomed into our office by our friendly staff. Please take time to complete the Patient Intake Forms prior to your visit, or you may complete the form upon your arrival.
Consultation and Exam
During the consultation you will meet with one of the doctors to discuss your condition and concerns. During the exam the doctor will complete your physical evaluation, discuss areas of discomfort or pain, perform the appropriate orthopedic and neurological tests and review your medical history. Following the exam, if diagnostic testing is needed, the doctor will discuss all of your options for obtaining these tests and find the option that is best for you. Most diagnostic testing, such as X-Rays and Spinal Scans are easily performed in our office on your first visit.
Functional Medicine is the future of conventional medicine–available now. It seeks to identify and address the root causes of disease, and views the body as one integrated system, not a collection of independent organs divided up by medical specialties. It treats the whole system, not just the symptoms.
By utilizing the latest in diagnostics, technology, and clinical expertise, we create a care plan that is custom tailored to each individual to help them heal the root cause of their condition and regain their whole health.
Functional Exercise Training
Learning how to use your body properly is an essential part of the chiropractic approach to health. Throughout your chiropractic care, you will be instructed in the proper use of an exercise program, custom-tailored to your individual goals and needs. This part of your care plan is essential for maintaining proper strength and flexibility to support your spine as well as move and function with less risk of future injury.
The doctors will specifically tailor an introductory exercise routine to help you regain motion, flexibility, reduce strain, and improve posture. These exercises will support all of your chiropractic adjustments so that you get the maximum rehabilitative benefits immediately from your care plan.
It is estimated that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress related. And perhaps nothing contributes to the aging process as much as stress. Stress can be physical, emotional, or chemical, and most likely a toxic combination of all three.
Whatever your reason for getting therapeutic massage (relaxation, self-care, restoration), massage therapy can be an important part of your healthcare routine, and is a great complement to your Chiropractic care.
